Dan Larkin (black hair) is in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota. He is investigating measures to control starry stonewort, an invasive aquatic plant. In Minnesota, starry stonewort was first reported in 2015 on Lake Koronis in Stearns County. Kevin Farnum (gray beard) is with the Koronis Lake Association and the Minnesota Coalition of Lake Associations and volunteers his time to help the research. Carli Wagner (white shirt) is pursuing a Fisheries-Wildlife major at the University of Minnesota and is a UROP student on the project.
