Tentative Moccasin Point Construction Schedule as of April 21, 2026

Restricted areas have already been signed and cordoned off.

Tree clearing begins as soon as May 4.

Site will remain open for launching and retrieving watercraft through May 31.  Parking will be very limited throughout May.

Any personal property will need to be off site by May 31 or it will be removed.

June 1:   Site closes to public from land and water. Full blown construction commences.

Commercial traffic may use the site at contractor’s discretion.

Rock removal: Drilling and blasting May 25 – July 9. First 7-10 days drilling only.  Blasting to be completed by July 9.

Reopening anticipated in late summer or fall of 2026.
